Safety, Safety, Safety
Safety is our #1 priority for all participants. For that reason we will have the following for both the Race and the Challenge Ride.
We will have designated Lead Drivers, Follow Up Drivers, Course Marshals, Police Presence where necessary and SAG Support for anyone needing it.
Packet Pick Up
Wednesday, August 14, 2019 – Location TBA
Each racer must pick up their own packet. You will be required to present your driver’s license or other id at time of pick up.
Riders must be at the start line 5 minutes before the official start time each day. Official start time will be on website and final confirmation email approximately 4 weeks before the event.
Racers who drop out of the race can switch to the Challenge Of Da Yoop ride. Please notify the race officials at the finish of your last racer section so they can switch you to a Challenge rider.
First Aid equipment will be located at every section’s start line, food station and finish line.
Although we will be in areas with very little crime, we still encourage you to lock up your bikes. Leave them in your room or lock them on your car, whatever is best for you. Tour Da Yoop is not responsible for any lost or stolen equipment, clothing or any other items.
Be respectful of our beautiful Upper Peninsula. You may leave wrappers and trash at each feeding station, but you may NOT just drop it as you are riding.
Any racers caught littering will be given a time penalty.
That should tell you how serious we are about not littering.
Feed stations will be located approximately ½ way through each section.

Jersey Fitting Guide
Measure the circumference of your chest. Place one end of the measuring tape at the fullest part of your chest/bust, wrap it around (under your armpits, around your shoulder blades, and back to the front) to get the measurement. Make sure your measuring tape is level around your body. This can be hard so we recommend measuring in front of a mirror.
Measure the circumference of your waist. Use the measuring tape to circle your waist at your natural waistline, which is located above your belly button and below your rib cage (if you bend to the side, the crease that forms is your natural waistline). Don’t suck in your stomach, or you’ll get a false measurement.
